Assistant Administrative Officer/Senior Assistant Administrative Officer [carrying a functional title of Assistant Manager (Institutional Advancement and Corporate Communications)]

The appointee is required to (a) assist in managing brand building events of the colleges; (b) handle the production of publications including content development, editing and graphic design; (c) oversee daily maintenance of websites and social media; (d) prepare press releases of the colleges; (e) liaise with both internal and external stakeholders; and (f) perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Applicants should have (i) a recognized degree, preferably in Communication/Marketing/Business Administration or related discipline; (ii) at least two years’ working experience preferably in marketing or public relations; (iii) good analytical skills, writing skill (in both Chinese and English) and computer literacy (MS Word, Photoshop and Chinese word processing); (iv) readiness to work efficiently with good time management skills. The appointees should be creative, self-initiated and able to work independently. Candidates who have got working experience in the tertiary education sector and attained band score 7 or above in IELTS will be an added advantage. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of Senior Assistant Administrative Officer.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on contract basis, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
