Responsibilities

• Assist in relationship development with Japanese business partners or Japanese joint venture (including Suppliers/ Vendors/ Recruitment Agents etc) including translation & coordination work and resolve any queries as to business practices
• Support negotiation of service contract renewal regularly with suppliers / customers
• Assist with the coordination of different projects, both internal (as well as cross-function) and external programs / events etc, and keep project moving forward towards its goal
• Facilitate the recruitment interview and hiring procedures with Japanese candidates
• Arrange meeting rooms and facilities for internal and external meetings as requested, and in advance for recurring meetings
• Liaise with relevant parties on business related travel arrangements
• Any other duties as assigned by the Business Head and the delegates

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Business Administration, Company Secretarial or other related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as coordinator or administrative role; experience in diary management and travel arrangement are preferred
• Excellent command in Japanese (Native Japanese or Proficiency Test N1 is a must)
• Good command of both spoken and written English; Good spoken and written Chinese is an advantage but not a must
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
• Responsible, hardworking, and work under high pressure
