Job Description

Phaidon International is a global recruitment consultancy, established in our CEO's bedroom in London in 2004. We have grown at a rate of 34% globally year on year to our present day where we stand at a current headcount of 700+ consultants working from London, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Singapore, Hong Kong, Zurich, Dallas, Chicago, Berlin, and Charlotte.

We are continually looking to outdo, outperform and outlast the competition, and we're on the lookout for a smart, determined and genuine person to join our Phaidon family as an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities
 

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Directs visitors and outside inquiries by maintaining employee and department directories
  • Maintains the professional appearance and overall cleanliness of the office environment
  • Receive and screen incoming phone calls, facsimiles, packages and mail correspondence
  • Manage shared calendars for the meeting as well as manage the individual calendars of executive leadership
  • Assist with planning and execution of company events and client entertainment; such as researching
    venues, contacting vendors, negotiating prices and organizing logistics
  • Miscellaneous clerical duties as required  

Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of professional work experience in an office environment as an Assistant Office Manager, Operations Manager or Office Manager. Fresh graduate’s will be also considered
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive mindset with demonstrated ability to solve problems before they arise
