Due to expansion, this leading financial services company is looking for an additional Legal Counsel for its team to:

• Advise business units on fixed income products, derivatives and structured products
• Prepare and review legal documents for fixed income products and global markets matters, such as ISDA and GMRA
• Monitor the Bank’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations and relevant contractual terms and advise management on legal risks for its business
• Manage the advice sought from external counsel
• Provide general legal advice to other business units and prepare and review miscellaneous legal documents

To qualify, you should be:

• A qualified and practicing lawyer (in Hong Kong, England, and Wales or other common law jurisdictions)
• 6+ years legal-related working experience in law firms, multi-national corporations or large and medium-sized enterprises
• Solid experience in reviewing master agreements and other related documents for fixed income and structured products
• Familiar with the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Hong Kong Listing Rules and other applicable laws and regulations, and knowledgeable about corporate and securities law in other common law jurisdictions
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required
• Strong team player with excellent problem solving, communication, analytical and organizational skills
