Job Description
Head of Retail Banking - Macau (Retail Bank)
Our client is a famous banking group. They are looking for a high caliber professional to fill the Head of Retail Banking position in their Macau Office:
Responsibilities
- Oversee full spectrum of retail banking functions, including sales/wealth management, branch operations, product development, marketing strategies etc.
- Develop strategies and action plans for quantitative and qualitative growth of retail banking portfolio through branch network and e-channels
- Demonstrate inspiring leadership to ensure the retail banking function is effectively and efficiently achieving the Bank’s target and strategies
- Carry out proactive marketing activities to reach targeted customers and enhance brand image for soliciting new business opportunities by promoting our retail lending products such as personal loan, mortgage loan, insurance products, investment products etc.
- Approve credit proposals and monitor credit quality of the portfolios
- Lead retail banking and marketing related ad hoc projects as requested
Requirements:
- University graduate, preferably major in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related disciplines
- Over 10 years of experience in banking sector, with at least 5 years in senior position in retail banking
- Sound knowledge in retail products and operations
- Knowledge of rules and regulations of retail banking business in Macau would be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and credit sense
- Excellent marketing, communication and management skills
- Proactive service mindset and highly customer-focused
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
- Good communication skills in English, Cantonese and preferably Putonghua
- Willing to station in Macau
