Our Firm is a SFC-licensed hedge fund (Type 9 – Asset Management), established in 2014 and headquartered in Hong Kong. We are currently seeking to recruit an Operations Officer to join our growing non-investment team.

Responsibilities:

-          Daily T+0 trade matching; liaise with portfolio managers and/or execution brokers to resolve any discrepancies.

-          Daily T+1 cash and position reconciliations.

-          Liaise extensively with the fund administrator, prime brokers, execution brokers and portfolio managers on trade reconciliations, unmatched trades, corporate actions and settlement issues.

-          Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

-          Bachelor in economics, finance, statistics or related disciplines. 

-          1-3 years of experience in hedge fund operations or fund accounting.

-          A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, detail-minded, well-organized and a strong sense of responsibility.

-          Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

-          Excellent knowledge on the use of Microsoft Excel such as using/setting formulas and VBA Macro programming would be an advantage.

-          Strong proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
