Job Duties:

• Conduct R&D work on Smart Electronics solutions, Autonomous Vehicles and New Energy Vehicle technologies
• Define system requirements, conduct solution design and evaluation
• Perform electronic design and development of both hardware prototype and embedded software
• Perform hands-on electronic assembly work in laboratory such as prototyping, circuit debugging, wiring, and soldering
• Support project implementation, progress monitoring & control, meetings, and vendor management
• Troubleshoot technical issue in field as needed
• Support ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
• Occasional travel to China or overseas for on-site project work and support

Job Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor Degree from Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ solid experience in electronic product development, and familiar with product development life cycle
• Proven experience in conducting research in smart electronics, automation systems, or new energy vehicle technologies
• Hands-on experience in at least one of following expertise:
• Sensor technologies
• Robotic Operation System (ROS)
• Electronics of battery system and fuel cell system
• Strong analytical mind with problem solving aptitude
• Mature, self-motivated and devoted with passion for technical work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
