A Commercial Manager is sought for a highly reputable Contractor. With building projects in Hong Kong, they are frequently associated with leading and large-scale projects.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• Must have strong commercial and market awareness
• You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, assessing risks, and compile financial documents
• Ensure all Contracts/Bonds/Warranties/Insurances are in place before commencement of projects
• Resolve disputes and issues
• Finalise Contractual and Legal control of project
• Agree Commercial Strategy with Construction Manager/ Project Surveyor/ Project Manager
• Agree Commercial Review meetings with Construction Manager, Final Accounts, buying strategy with Site Team

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Chartered Commercial Manager, either RCIS and/or HKIS would be advantageous
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in budgeting, costing and contract administration
• Experience in Residential/Hospitality/Commercial is advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical, organized and able to make informed decisions
• Self-motivated, good working attitude and high level of professionalism and integrity
• Ability to prioritise, manage and lead team.
