Job Description:

• Work as part of a team on the research, system design, and implementation of speech recognition algorithms for robotics
• Conduct research for automatic speech recognition and/or natural language processing algorithm development

Job Requirements:

• Master or PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering
• Hands-on experience on robust speech recognition and modelling, speaker recognition, multi-modal and areas of natural voice interaction
• Demonstrate ability to prototype speech and signal processing algorithms using C, C++ or Matlab
• Experience with speech enhancement, noise and channel compensation with a strong background in DSP, stochastic and adaptive signal processing
• Experience of simulators and study the system performance

Technical Requirements (either one of the following):

• Experience in pre-processing voice and noise reduction
• Experience in semantic understanding
• Experience in speech synthesis
