The appointee will manage all aspects of building maintenance with an aim to provide a well-maintained, safe and sustainable environment for all campus users. The appointee will be responsible for the following:

• Monitor manpower and material resources for routine repairs and maintenance of the campus and oversee contractors’ work;
• Organize facilities maintenance services and monitor quality in compliance with the relevant codes for repairs and maintenance;
• Carry out duties assigned for facilities and estate/property management and assist in events organization;
• Supervise in-house building maintenance workshop;
• Ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements and create a culture of safety first across all operations;
• Carry out inspection, respond to emergency and organize urgent works including 24-hour emergency response; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.

Applicants should have a diploma/certificate in building technology, construction or related disciplines or at least 8 years of relevant experience in building facilities management among which at least 5 years should be at supervisory level. The appointee should possess in-depth knowledge relating to building repairs and maintenance, safety and building management; and proven experience in supervision of subordinates and contractors. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
