Our client, one of the Singaporean based financial services companies is recruiting high-caliber candidates joining their newly set-up Hong Kong office.  A job description is as follows : -

Responsibilities 

• Conduct fundamental research on a wide range of companies (mostly private companies) 
• Research on, obtain and analyze financial data and public records of companies and develop financial models for forecasting & valuation
• Prepare reports to make recommendation on the appropriate investment actions
• Possess good verbal & written communication skills that are needed when writing reports on companies
• Attend investment conferences, company meetings, presentations, and conferences and summarize key points for team
• Collaborate with other team members and share information and insights
• Time-sensitive deadlines will need to be followed particularly on deals
• Preferably have good contacts in the industry to have a good access to deals

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree preferably in Accountancy/ Finance
• Ability to develop financial model
• Sound working knowlege in HK/China/US shares or solid experience in developing marketing segments in relation to TMT 
• Able to converse fluently in Mandarin asthis entails close working relationship with Chinese associates
• Highly-developed problem solving, decision making and communication skills (both verbal & written)
• A strong innate curiously about companies, industries and economics and a passion for investing in the same
• An energetic, self-directed, self-motivated personality with an independent and engaging forward-thinking mind and to be good team player
• A truly professional character, upholding the highest ethical standards
