Our client is an international hedge fund with a strong presence in Asia. They are currently looking for an experienced Operations/Middle Office Associate to join their team in Hong Kong.
Your main tasks are to support the portfolio managers and traders on booking daily trade transactions, resolve settlement issues and to monitor corporate action events for the Firm’s investments in Asian Cash Equities, FX, Futures/Options, FX, OTC Products. You will liaise extensively with fund administrators, prime brokers and internal front office colleagues on trade reconciliations, unmatched trades, corporate actions and settlement issues.
To qualify, you must have 4-7 years of experience in middle office with strong product knowledge, and have experience managing and instructing execution brokers/prime brokers to resolve daily issues. Basic technical (e.g. VBA, SQL) skill is required. You must have strong communication skills in English and Cantonese.
