Position Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager and the Accounts Team on student payment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end closing and financial accounting work, e.g. preparing journal, bank reconciliation, financial data and schedules
• Perform daily routine accounting duties including entering and processing receipts, checking and verifying payments, issuing invoices, etc.
• Set up student accounts and input student information into the accounting system
• Assist in handling student queries regarding payment, invoice and assessment fees
• Handle Accounts Receivables including chasing student payment
• Handle Accounts Payable including chasing student payment
• Collaborate with the other colleagues for accounting issues
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and systems
• Assist Finance Manager with ad hoc duties

 The Right Fit 

• Higher Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• At least 4 years proven experience in similar position will be an advantage
• Excellent command of English and Cantonese
• Mature, analytical & detail-minded, with strong organisational skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Immediately available is highly preferred
