The client is a MNC Financial Group. To capture their continuous growth, they are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager, Recovery (Credit Control / Debt Collection) (HKD35k – 50k) to join their professional team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Managers, Lines of businesses and any other key stakeholders to drive results on recovery and collection
• Develop recovery plans to manage and facilitate recovery of claims amount
• Create and monitor lists of people/companies who have not made payments/recovery
• Locate third parties using credit information, background checks, loan documents, and other paperwork or databases as permissible by law
• Utilize alternate systems to complete background checks etc.
• Inform clients/customers/other insureds of overdue accounts and amount and chase up accordingly; set up repayment plans
• Initiate repossession proceedings or hand over account to law practice that specializes in debt collection
• Perform reporting and trend analysis to support the lines of businesses around vendor spend, KPI achievements and drive SLA achievements
• Ensure monitoring and feedback of claims department wide performance to key stakeholders within claims e.g. CCO and business heads
• Manage recovery vendor / outsources collections agencies related projects across the department through project life cycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
• Proven track record of successful recovery from third parties and credit control experience
• Claims/insurance and project management experience is highly preferred
• Knowledge of various lines of business and functional activities in Claims
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytic skills combined with a strong command in Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-organized and good planning ability
• Demonstrated ability to coach and train; you must be able to conduct group and one-on-one training
• Multi-language skills are a strong plus
