ACADEMIC SECRETARIAT

Senior Project Officer (Ref. 19011602-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) assist in preparing meeting materials and attend technical sub-group meetings of the Student Lifecycle Management Platform (SLMAP) working group, and present findings as necessary;

(b) perform work associated with compilation of student statistics and implementation of related analytic visualization system;

(c) improve current data collection, management, and blending processes as per the project requirements;

(d) provide administrative support for admissions, student-related, and academic programme-related matters including student enrolment, assessment and  examination, and data compilation for operation report;

(e) provide administrative support for the enhancement, operation, and acceptance testing of the systems in support of the administrative processes; and

(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Academic Secretary and the Dean of Students, or their delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree;

(b) at least six years’ relevant post-qualification administrative and supervisory experience;

(c) good supervisory, liaison and organization skills;

(d) good communications skills and a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

(e) a proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a mentality of embracing new technologies; and

(f) an inquisitive spirit, willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas and new domains, and flexibility and receptiveness in collaborating with colleagues and vendors.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
