Job Description

Our Client is a leading bank and is looking for a capable individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager in the Legal & Compliance Department. To cope with their expansion and continuous growth in the banking businesses, we are looking for dedicated, high caliber person to provide legal and general compliance support to the Bank.

  

Responsibilities:  

 

  • Assist supervisor in handling anti-money laundering (“AML”) related tasks, including but not limited to handling compliance review of transaction monitoring, preparing relevant reports, rendering advice on day-to-day AML issues, facilitating existing workflow and AML system. 
  • Updating internal policies and procedures and handling ad hoc tasks are also required.

 

  

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree holder with relevant professional qualification such as HKICPA, AAMLP, CAMLP, or ACAMS
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in CPA firms (Big4) or sizeable financial institutions
  • Responsible, proactive with attention to details and be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Team player with good communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese.  Putonghua speaking is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Candidates with less relevant experience can be considered as "Assistant Manager".
