We are looking for Regulatory Reporting Manager for a leading Investment bank to supervise effectiveness of controls framework.

This is a regional role covering 7 countries in APAC to act as ‘Second Line of Defence’ (Level 2) to fulfill the Group’s regulator requirement.

 Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in risk assessment of both local reports produced in Asia Pacific and contribution from Asia Pacific of main group regulatory reporting metrics 

• Liaise with relevant parties at the bank regarding control testing roadmap that mitigate regulatory risk to tolerable level and explain to relevant parties on the rationale and tasks to be performed

• Work out the sampling methodology and document the basis of selection for spot check

• Conduct Spot-check on risky regulatory reporting controls and processes to give an opinion on the quality of control design and performance 

• Liaise with other relevant parties on various regulatory related projects including but not limited to remediation roadmap, target operation models, etc. 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance discipline 
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Big4 preferably in Financial Service (Banking or securities team) clients
• Knowledge in regulatory reporting or experience in internal Audit, Risk or Finance of the financial institution are preferred
• Knowledge of banking and securities regulations in HK (other Asia Pacific regions are an advantage) 
• CPA, FRM candidates are preferred 
• Fluent in both English and Chinese
