Our client, an MNC - an index provider is looking for the candidate for their team expansion in Index Monitoring team

Duties

• Research and implement the corporate actions for equities actions
• Implement and ensure the daily index calculation and configuration, monitoring the consistency and accuracy
• Manage and monitor the data, identify the change and ownership
• handle client request and provide support through the systematic analyse, develop new tools for the system support and development
• Ensure the high data quality and data accuracy, completeness, coverage and timeliness in daily work
• Coordinate and review the on-going index changes
• Work closely with other team and clients to communicate and ensure the update information in timely manner

Requirements

• University graduate in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent subjects
• 1 – 2 years experience in financial institutes, preferable index business, portfolio business, product development or structuring (Fresh graduate will also be considered)
• Good understanding of financial markets, market data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters IDC etc.
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications, such as MS VBA for Excel, MS Access, databases, SQL etc.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, financial information and market good understanding of corporate actions impacts on index
• Experience in index operation, middle or back office/ corporate and securities firm actions/ index operations
• Abel to work under pressure and meet tight headline
• Able to handle multi-tasking and work closely with other team
