Job Description

The Job

  • Lead a Facilities Management Team to carry out the repairs and maintenance works for Hong Kong and Macau stores
  • Plan, manage and implement regular maintenance and repairs works, to ensure all are in functional, good and safe condition of Company’s premises, including health & safety work practices in the stores
  • Prepare annual budget, perform cost control and regular reporting for repair and maintenance works
  • Work closely with stores on the work order requirements and monitor work progress
  • Manage and carry out tender to ensure the cost-effectiveness with keeping the quality of the vendors
  • Oversee equipment repairs and monitor call center system performance
  • Monitor and supervise contractors to ensure quality of work and adherence to guidelines and policies
  • Source quotations, prepare tenders, compile paperwork for maintenance and handle improvement project
  • Attend emergency meeting, inspection and repair, including work overtime after office hours and on holidays if necessary
  • Undertake and conduct ad-hoc projects as assigned

 

The Person

  • Degree holder in Facilities Management, Building Surveying, Building Service Engineering, Housing Management or related disciplines
  • Member of professional body or holder of relevant professional qualification is an advantage (such as MHKIS/ MHKIE/ PFM/ MRICS/ MHKIH/ CFM / BIFM)
  • Minimum 10 years solid experience in Property / Facilities Management, at least 3 years in managerial level
  • Mature and independent with strong coordination, problem solving skills and detail-minded
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude with strong communication skills with all levels
  • Good command of both written and spoken in Chinese and English
  • Good PC knowledge in MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Cheerful character with proactive and can-do mindset
  • Able to work under pressure
