Execution of new and refurbishment projects (in both Hong Kong and Macau) as to maintain the acceptable standard regarding construction, equipment, fixtures, services, general decoration with them in the agreed time frame.

The Job

• Handling the building and construction work as assigned by Senior Project Manager. Solid experience of project management to new building and/or addition & alteration work is required.
• Familiar with statutory requirements including Cap. 123 and capable to handle the compliance work including but not limited to BD / FSD order or direction work.
• Prepare tender document, supervise, coordinate and monitor the consultant / contractor and liaise with relevant parties for defect inspection and rectification.
• Execute store refurbishment work, from physical site survey for technical requirement, verify any deviation from design layout, prepare tendering and contract document, handling procurement, prepare specification, supervise and monitor refurbishment work, ensure compliance of required work quality and completion time, check and certify work done by contractor.
• Monitor and report the performance of vendors during the work;
• Any other duties relevant to the post which may from time to time be issued by Senior Project Manager.

 The Person

• Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent
• Member of CIOB or Member of HKIA or Member of HKIS
• 10 years working experience in construction or building projects and at least 5 years post qualified experience
• Knowledge of building regulations and statutory requirements
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
