This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Performing architectural and project management duties for projects fromfeasibility study, design development, tender preparation, contract management until overall completion
• Providing technical assistance to ensure architectural elements are designed, specified and built to achieve the required standards of aesthetics, materials and workmanship and met all stakeholders’ requirements;
• Reviewing consultants; designs and contractors’ submissions to ensure compliance with sound architectural principles and the project requirements are incorporated into the scheme and detailed design as well as contract documents effectively;
• Reviewing technical proposals and site works to ensure the required quality and safety standards are maintained;
• Analyzing technical submissions for compliance with the statutory and other specified requirements;
• Monitoring progress of the works, maintain comprehensive records and prepare thorough progress reports;
• Assisting in monitoring the professional service contract and well coordinating with stakeholders including statutory bodies;
• Co-coordinating design and construction interface issues and proactively resolve potential clashes and work out effective solutions; and
• Preparing design proposals, image of designs and presentation materials as required to facilitate the project works.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or other related disciplines with at least 10 years’ experience, of which minimum 6 years in project management
• Professional Qualification in Architecture gained from a recognized professional institution (e.g. HKIA) is required
• Possession of Authorized Person Qualification is preferred
• Experience in statutory submission for building works
• Experience in design and construction projects in airport terminal, transportation-related building or complex is an advantage
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools
• Knowledge of BIM and CADD software such as Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Project Architect
