Job Description

Technical Facilities Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding property business headquartered in Hong Kong with a market leading innovative proposition which has been very well received. They are now looking to hire a Technical Facilities Manager to join their projects team to help their future growth.

Role:

  • Oversee the properties/facilities under the group's portfolio to ensure smooth operations including but not limited to maintenance of building services systems and builder's works
  • Be familiar and knowledgeable regarding all operational aspects of building systems including electrical, HVAC, air handling units, roof top units, plumbing, dock doors and levelers, mechanical, process controls, power transmissions, pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic devices
  • Carry out audits of the conditions of buildings and report/recommend/plan/implement preventive maintenance, repair, replacement and improvement works to ensure all systems, equipment and fixtures meet the required performance and quality standards
  • Prepare annual budget, perform cost control and regular reporting for routine O&M works and ad-hoc projects
  • Source, procure and manage repair and maintenance services, materials, equipment and fixtures
  • Lead, manage and supervise contractors/vendors/suppliers of different trades and conduct regular review meetings to ensure the quality of services and deliverables are satisfied in accordance with market standard and statutory requirements
  • Provide technical support to property/operations team and other departments with respect to building services and maintenance aspects including tenant fitting out / reinstatement, minor alteration and modification works and advising technical comments
  • Coordinate and liaise with government authorities, utility companies, retail tenants, project managers, contractors and suppliers when required
  • Develop, review and standardize facility management processes and specifications
  • Handle enquires or complaints from users/operations team and follow up closely for resolution

 

Requirements:

  • Facilities operations background with 5+ years’ experience in customer support and building maintenance
  • Prior experience assessing building maintenance requirements necessary to maintain a given set of buildings to a high level of cleanliness and operational order
  • Responsible, self-motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work independently
  • Strong in contractual sense, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skill
  • Experience in residential & hotel properties preferable
