Our client is a rapidly expanding property business headquartered in Hong Kong with a market leading innovative proposition which has been very well received. They are now looking to hire a contracts and procurement to join their projects team to help their future growth. Those with lesser experience maybe considered as an Assistant Contracts Manager

Role:

·       Responsible for pre and post contract quantity surveying activities

• Cost planning and estimation, cost control, procurement and tender management, construction cost management, resolving contractual issues
• Administration of payment process, interim valuations, VO valuation, claims and final account negotiations and settlement
• Manage project cashflow and prepare financial reports for Senior Team
• Preparation of construction contracts, tender documentation and manage tender process
• Perform cost review and analysis on tenders
• Provide extensive support to team for end to end project delivery and be accountable for project cost results
• Preparing proposals and other business development activities
• Oversee procurement of all relevant FF&E items for upcoming projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying gained from a recognized professional bodies is required
• At least 10 years’ relevant experience in procurement and contract administration of construction projects
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.  Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools
