Job Description

Duties

The appointee will be required but not limited to:

  1. prepare quotation, tender document and cost estimation for the fitting out / renovation projects;
  2. organize and implement routine maintenance and lager improvement works;
  3. assist in preparation of building proposals for annual capital projects submissions and feasibility studies for other building projects;
  4. monitor the performance of contractors, vendors;
  5. supervise in-house technicians;
  6. serve as secretaries to committee meetings; and
  7. attend emergency call, typhoon and night time duties if necessary.

Requirements

Applicants should:

  1. possess a recognized bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying / Building Studies / Building Construction / Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline;
  2. have at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in project management, repair and maintenance works, facilities or property management, preferably gained in tertiary education sector;
  3. have good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  4. be knowledgeable in AutoCAD would be an advantage; and
  5. preferably be a Registered Safety Officer but not a MUST.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Facilities (Technical) Officer.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
