Job Duties:

• Implement APAS R&D Centre technology roadmap in Smart Mobility initiative and related products, focus especially in works on the mechanical design for an Connected and Autonomous Vehicles component/sub-system
• Prepare technical drawings and arrange quotation / outsourcing issues for prototypes development
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of the product BOM
• Design tools/jigs/fixtures that assist the manufacture and assembly of the products
• Liaise with suppliers for technical issues
• Manage development tasks and work with the team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Engineering / Design or related disciplines from a local university
• Excellent skills in 3D software, i.e. Solidworks, Pro-E, etc.
• Relevant working experience an advantage but not essential
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willing to learn and good interpersonal and team spirit
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua is a plus

This is a position funded by the Internship Programme of the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) R&D project from December 2018 to June 2020.
