We are looking for a proactive and energetic candidate to assist the Design team on designing and developing sample collections. 

 Responsibilities:

• Arrange prototype development in HK studio & sampling in china factory
• Create sample development workflow using our project planner system
• Monitor & manage workflow in HK studio sample room & China factories
• Assist and develop swatches and techniques for the season
• Colour lab dip approval
• Create and manage the critical path for all styles
• Embroidery and artwork development
• Issue out artwork and development to embroidery factories and chase
• Source accessories and materials in the local market
• Prepare and chase PO’s for all sample fabric & trim orders
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding the price, min. order quantity and delivery time frame, and inform Design team the outcomes and update schedule accordingly
• Monitor accessories/materials consumption and update records
• Assist designer in completing sample development tech pack – attaching fabric swatches
• Assist with fittings and full out comments sheets to hand over to pattern cutter
• Keep record of samples

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in woven ladieswear for the international market
• Good technical product knowledge
• Basic paper pattern knowledge
• Good spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Well organised with good planning skills
• Enthusiastic and good team player
• Love of luxury and quality fashion
