Responsibilities  

• Building print-ready mechanicals for publication print advertising (magazines, newspaper), print collateral, books, out-of-home / large format units, packaging, and specialty print items.
• Work closely with art directors and production team to develop and troubleshoot layout to mechanical execution process.
• Work directly with account servicing team and art directors to forecast daily and short-term studio workload
• ensure that creative studio deadlines are maintained and layout/mechanical workload is managed efficiently.
• Assist with retouching for presentation and internal needs.
• Monitoring and maintenance of digital assets, font libraries, and image collections on department servers and archives.
• Provide general studio support to Creative team

Qualifications

• Ability to work with precision under rigorous deadlines, and extended daily schedules when necessary.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with art directors, marketing managers, production managers, and vendors.
• Strong typography skills, and experience with high-caliber design content.
• Excellent proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Experience with precision hand-work; including trimming, mounting, comping, hand assembly, and binding.
• Understanding of color profiles and CMYK & RGB color workflows.
• Good team player, also able to work independently and responsible
• Eyes in details and meet deadlines
• Diploma in graphic design or at least 3-4 years work related experience
