Our Asia Sourcing Office in Hong Kong is now looking for high caliber candidate to fill the following open position:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fit evaluation, create fit report, pre-production review and comments; 
• Understand the fit requirements and properly communicate the garment construction and details to vendors;
• Provide technical advice on problematic samples and illustrates clearly on the changes of garment fit and construction detail;
• Assist US technical design team and merchandisers to solves fit problems;
• Ensure accurate specification information from US technical design team;
• Work collaboratively with US designers, US technical design and local merchandising teams to facilitate garment development process so as to help vendors to understand / interpret design trends clearly and accurately;
• Work with merchandisers and vendors to engineer garments to the target price points and to recommend cost effective manufacturing operations;
• Visit to factory for pre-production meeting;
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the superior.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Textiles /Clothing or related discipline;
• At least 10 years relevant experience, hands-on experience in conducting fit session, on-site factory experience is desirable;
• Knowledge in garment construction, pattern making, fit and manufacturing process;
• Ability to fit develop pattern/fit garment independently;
• Proficient in MS office, Illustrator and Photoshop;
• Experience with PLM is a plus;
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin preferred;
• Less experience will be considered as Garment Technical Designer.
