The IQS Examinations is the qualifying scheme for Chartered Secretaries.  This is held twice a year in May and December in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.

Subject syllabus:

The subject focuses on financial sources and requirements of the employing or client organization as well as the role and efficiency of the capital markets. In addition, the nature and importance of capital structure, cost of capital, principles of working capital management, the impact of global and multi-national operations on corporate financial management are also covered in the subject.

Duties of examiner:

1. Preparing examination papers and marking schemes
2. Attending Review Panel meetings
3. Marking examination scripts
4. Submitting examiners report
5. Updating reading list and
6. Giving advice on syllabus content. 

Duration of appointment is 1 year (i.e. May 2019 examination diet and December 2019 examination diet)

Requirement:

1. Sound Knowledge and experience in the related subject
2. Experience in setting post-graduate level of examination papers and marking answer scripts
3. Relevant academic and/or professional qualification in the related subject
4. Member of HKICS/ICSA is an advantage
