Responsibilities

• Responsible for project planning and handling
• Coordinate with various parties to ensure a smooth running of projects
• Support in a wide range of professional training to clients
• On-site consultancy services, including projects outside HK
• Job rotation in different departments
• Engage in internal projects assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Graduates (years 2018 and 2019) with good honor Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics or Mechanical Engineering (Please refer to List of Discipline Matching Results for Engineering Degree Programmes Accredited by the HKIE for degree programmes eligible for MIE Discipline)
• Candidates graduated in 2018 is preferred. 
• A holder of Hong Kong identity card
• Higher degrees will be an advantage
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Dynamic and fast learning, able to work independently
• Excellent written and spoken English & Chinese
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Enjoy traveling and experiencing operations in different countries/ locations, and with different cultures

We offer the HKIE Graduate Training Scheme 'A' in Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering (MIE) discipline to the right candidate. The successful Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Trainees will go through a 2-year comprehensive & practical Scheme A programme approved by the HKIE, and can become a Chartered Engineer in 4 years.

Successful completion of the 2-year Scheme A programme will bring you:

• Proficiency in project planning and management
• Skills in resources mobilization and time management
• Capability in leading projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid knowledge in Strategic Planning, Business Process Improvement, LEAN Manufacturing/ Servicing, Six Sigma, Malcolm Baldrige, Quality Tools, Management Systems, etc.
