Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical design engineers and development project activities
- Identify mechanical risks and trade-offs between mechanical design, ID, tooling issues, cost, and schedule
- Manage risks throughout the product development cycle
- Conduct cross functional reviews to assure design integrity and compliance with product specifications and recognised industry design practises
- Identify, evaluate and resolve all mechanical development issues
- Track and report project status related to mechanical design
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in Electronics, Networking or IOT products
- Proficient in ProEngineer and/or Solidworks, 3D CAD skills
- Effective people and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Mandarin speaking an advantage due to the need to communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders
