Job Description

To manage the transfer and tour operations for FIT, Group and Cruise accounts as well as onsite services to ensure the smooth running and delivery so that client expectations are exceeded. Oversee Airport operations including Airport Rep roster, manage supplier agreements and health and safety checks. Build and maintain excellent relationships with all business partners and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Control tour guide booking system across all departments, including but not limited to supervising and signing off on guide expense claims in accordance with booking costs recorded.

- Supervise on site services and resources when required to ensure that all services delivered exceed client expectations.

- Manage and hold the emergency/operations phone after hours on shift rotation basis

- Run operations reports and liaise with suppliers to ensure all requirements are confirmed and booked for transfers and tour confirmations

- Confirm guides no later than 1 month prior except when last minute requests are made.

- Work with the Reservations and MICE teams to ensure proper handover of reservations requests are accurately recorded and booked and Suppliers kept up to date with amendments and cancellations.

- Ensure guides are properly briefed for the tour/transfer and provided with any necessary signage and itinerary information in good time.

- Liaise between Reservations team and suppliers and ensure the service delivered by suppliers meets with company service standards.

- Product revision & development, tour program improvements

- Guide Training sessions to ensure Destination Asia standards and best practices are adhered to

 

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in the travel and tourism industry in a similar position

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers

- Experience supervising a small team (Guides)

- Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese is mandatory

- Ability to work independently and without supervision

- Networking ability with business partners in industry

- Experience working with European & USA clients highly desirable

- Knowledge of Hong Kong tourism products

- Proficient in MS Office and other online booking systems

- Immediately available is preferable

 

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Senior Reservations Executive role.
