Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource specialist to join a fantastic Global Relocation and Household Moving company based in Hong Kong as a Human Resources Officer.

This role will be working closely with the Human Resources Manager alongside other departments in order to fill all vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other departments & the recruitment/advertising agencies for the preparation of all the relevant recruitment placements
  • Deliver the International Relocation products and services to the employee
  • Employee lifecycle management, organize & co-ordinate monthly staff orientation program to newly recruited staff
  • Input payroll data & transactions and assist in the preparation of monthly payroll processing
  • Prepare tax returns to IRD for new recruits and resigned/terminated staff & keep proper filing
  • Prepare monthly reports, including staff list, organization chart, commercial medical insurance, contract renew, probation review and annual review, as well as other personnel changes etc. Keep proper filing of all personnel documentation.
  • Follow-up leave applications & the daily leave records submitted by respective departments
  • Prepare monthly leave records summary for all Divisions by monthly updating the staff database in HRIS
  • Work in partnership with the management to drive employee engagement, utilizing annual feedback and data
  • Assist in annual salary review documentation and employee relationship issues, and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigation
  • Assist in HR initiatives including development, expansion and implementation of performance management
  • All other duties deemed as necessary for the satisfactory performance of the Human Resources Department

Preferred qualification for this role:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or any related disciplines
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is a MUST, Mandarin is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills in MS office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, independent and good problem resolving abilities,
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in the relocation industry preferred
