Job Description
Summary:
Our client is a well known financial institution which is seeking an IT Technician to join their team. The position will be responsible for routine technical support. The candidate will be hired for IT Technician or Deskside Support according to their working experiences and qualification.
Job Description:
- Provide on-site IT support to local office users (PC, hardware/ software, mobile devices: Blackberry/iOS, printers, and etc.)
- Perform 1st layer troubleshoot on servers (Exchange, file, printing, etc.), network devices, etc.
- Prepare VC system for conference meetings
- Work on ad-hoc projects at times
- Responsible for the migration of computers and assist in project activities
- Prepare and maintain training materials & user manuals, and provide training to users at times
- Escalate and work with programming team on system changes, and more complicated technical issues
- Collect feedback from users at times and perform UAT testings
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/certificate in Information Technology or equivalent
- 1 -2+ years of working experience within IT
- Experience in supporting a sizeable corporation, and ERP knowledge is required
- Proficiency in database administration is highly regarded, but not a must
- Industry knowledge in manufacturing, logistic, supply chain would be a plus
- With a customer oriented manner and good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
