Our client, one of the largest International Organisations in Hong Kong, is looking for a highly competent Development Manager (Website Engineering Team), who will lead a team of Engineers responsible for enhancing and maintaining the corporate website which has significant transactional volume. The role is especially important as the Organisation will be going through a large-Scale Digital Transformation.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Be highly responsible for the support and maintenance of the corporate website and Mobile applications.
• The website has large volumes and provides a portal for significant customer transactions.  
• Lead a team of Engineers in the constant support, enhancements and maintenance of all these customer-facing Web and Mobile systems/applications.
• Lead the team in resolving any issues, especially as these systems are customer centric, running 24/7.
• Turn Business requirements into functional solutions according to Architectural standards.
• Conduct reviews (including code reviews) consistently to maintain quality and conformance of requirements set.
• Maintain strong Stakeholder Management with various levels throughout the Organisation.

Requirements of the role:

• A Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Over 10 years of Professional IT experience with a good amount of clear team leading exposure.
• Be able to demonstrate clear problem-solving skills through examples, especially where there has been pressure or time constraints.
• Strong Stakeholder management with the ability to co-ordinate with multiple parties.
• Show demonstrable experience developing and supporting large, customer-facing Web and Mobile solutions with experience or understanding in JavaScript, XML, Angular, React, Node and Vue, as well as DB technologies.
• Experience with Cloud and DevOps is a huge advantage.
• Excellent command of Spoken English with Cantonese and Mandarin a big plus.
