POS System Analyst

Our client is an internationally leading retail company who has a very solid presence in APAC. In an enterprise setting, they are looking for a System Analyst to work on the internal point of sales systems across their store locations in both implementations, integrations and support. Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the whole system development life cycle
• Provide support to IT Applications including trouble-shooting, bug fixing and ad-hoc queries
• Perform tactical software development to application including new initiatives, change request performance tuning
• Provide technical development and support on integrating POS systems to downstream enterprise systems
• Develop training materials and assist in the user training

Job Requirements

• Degree Educated in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline
• Strong POS related experience in IT particularly in retail industry is preferable
• Strong technical candidates with development and integration experience, without retail exposure will also be considered
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in Oracle and web based integration and development technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team and independently
• Good documentation skills
• Good communication in English and Cantonese both written and spoken
