Our Client is a Top Tier Financial Software Organisation. They are  looking for graduate level/ experienced Software Support specialists to work in their Hong Kong office. You should have some technical knowledge in areas such as Linux / UNIX, shell scripting, C++, SQL etc and your role will involve supporting external clients on a range of trading software applications.

Job Responsibilities

• support clients on software issues and maintain excellent client relationships
• Perform the system environment maintenance and assist in the system upgrade and routine test
• Build up and improve the maintenance automation, monitoring and alert system to identify potential risks and facilitate incident prevention
• Maintain the knowledge base and operation/experience document management
• Improve the operational procedures and risk prevention to ensure support activity is in compliance with company policies and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines, Fresh Graduates with related Intern experience will be considered as well.
• Solid knowledge of trading application such as Fidessa, SunGard and Ullink
• Familiar with SQL Server/Oracle database and Linux/Ubuntu OS
• Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills with good sense of risk management
