Summary

This role is meant for professionals who have had specific experience in telecom provisioning for global institutions or carriers and are obsessed about delighting customers and exceeding their expectations. The Telecom Provisioning Analyst will work directly with clients and telecom carriers on a day to day basis to obtain quotes for new service, place orders for voice/data services and coordinate installation and testing of new circuits upon completion.

Responsibilities

• Enter accurately requests for new service as well as moves, adds, changes and disconnects (MACD) into a standardized provisioning system.
• Work directly with clients to obtain order clarification where necessary before placing orders.
• Maintain a catalog of pricing based on telecom carrier contracts and SLA’s.
• Obtain quotes from carriers/vendors for new service and modifications to existing service.
• Submit and monitor orders placed with the telecom carriers/vendors.
• Track all circuit provisioning orders for the entire life cycle of the order installation and communicate status back to client POC’s
• Schedule and participate in weekly status calls with carriers/vendors.
• Escalate orders when appropriate.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule installation, circuit turn up and testing.
• Coordinate with on-site contacts for circuit turn ups.
• Work with inventory management team to resolve inventory accuracy issues and provide needed documentation to support carrier billing issues.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in telecom provisioning, circuit installation or testing coordination required.
• Experience working with global financial services institutions preferred.
• Hands on knowledge with one or more of the following telecom products required: MPLS, VoIP, Trader Lines, Co-Location, Point to Point data circuits.
• Fluent verbal and written English and Cantonese skills required. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, telecom carriers, vendors and internal staff.
• Willingness to work past normal hours for circuit turn up and testing.
• Organizational skills and time management/prioritization.
• Comfortable working against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Local candidates preferred.
• Ability to successfully pass a detailed security clearance background check.
• Authorization to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship required.
