Nakama have partnered with a leading Hong Kong based organisation that is going through a period of Digital Transformation and is looking at hiring a Principal Architect to join their organisation.

As the Principal Architect, you will be introducing best practices and technologies working closely with engineers driving the business forward. You will need to come from a technical background having worked in a DevOps environment and ideally AWS Cloud.

Responsibilities and skills required – 

• Architect responsive, resilient, elastic, and loosely-coupled message driven cloud platforms systems upon which world-class services can easily be built
• Work hands-on with teams to prove out new concepts and drive the execution of the target architectures
• Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of others by developing the right levels of documentation and the right processes for review and qualification of designs
• Promote continuous improvement of engineering and architecture practices
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Outspoken and verbally capable to communicate your thoughts/ideas clearly and precisely
• Experience designing and deploying distributed high-performance production services with extensive monitoring and logging practices
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience in working in a mobile first team
• Hand-on experience in Docker and Orchestration
• Algorithm design and run-time analysis
• Experience in AWS is a must, AWS certificate is an added advantage
