Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform the day-to-day computer operations which includes running the batch programs across multiple platform (Unix, Linux and Windows)
- Ensure that all jobs are performed promptly, accurately, timely and according to schedule & dependencies
- Ensure all required printings are completed after batch job
- Perform and monitor deployment jobs
- Perform ad-hoc work requests promptly and accurately
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Science, Engineering or related qualification
- At least 1.5 years of experience in running batch jobs on various platforms including Linux, Unix (HP-UX, IBM AIX, Sun Solaris) and Windows Operating Systems
- Experience in batch jobs processing including backups (e.g. execute/submit, monitor and handle jobs according to work instructions defined) and tape media management for on-site and off-site storage
- Relevant experience in the Telecommunication Industry will have an added advantage
- Must be able to work 24 x 7 rotating shift including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
