Our client is a top-tier global insurance company with strong presence worldwide. To further strengthen their market positioning, the company is urgently looking for a Senior Specialist / Manager, Information Security to join their team. This position is initially a 6 months contract headcount, with the view to extend or turn into a permanent role. 

As an Senior Specialist / Manager, Information Security, you will be responsible for the following:- 

• Security review and acceptance testing on application systems
• System configuration hardening, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, privileged ID review
• Identify and mitigate weak points that might make information systems vulnerable to attack
• Protect company against threats such as security breaches, computer viruses, or cyber attacks
• Adopt, develop, and implement policies which encourage secure working and data protection
• Increase company security awareness, explain security risks, and promote best practices
• Ensure implementation of remedial actions

 To be considered for this role as an Senior Specialist / Manager, Information Security,you possess the following:- 

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• At least 5 years of information services / technology experience within large financial services firm
• Insurance experience is preferred, but not a must
• Prior experience in IT security, IT audit, IT planning, IT budgeting is an advantage
• CEH, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CISM certifications are preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
