Job Scope:

The incumbent will be required to implement the Operational Risk Framework under the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Guideline of the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong. This position will also need to conduct operational risk analysis with strong emphasis on the Information Technology to help the organization develop control standards and procedures that support strategic, tactical and operational objectives on a cost-effective basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design or enhance the operational risk policies to ensure the ERM framework is embedded in the business activities;
• Update the current risk assessment and control process which include risk appetite, tolerance and limits, and provide analysis and follow-up on the closure of related management actions and recovery plan;
• Perform risk and control review and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of controls to determine the accuracy of data and the efficiency and security of information systems;
• Manage the IT Incident Reporting program to ensure the prevention, detection, containment and correction of security & data breaches;
• Coordinate the activities which include system development, change management and new technology projects with the IT team & functional users to ensure unforeseen problems can be addressed in a timely and controlled manner;
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet any ad-hoc requirements.

Requirements

• Degree holder in an IT-related discipline or business
• Professional related certification in IT (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, MCITP ) are preferable
• At least 5 years of relevant experience (e.g. IT audit, IT governance/ control, cybersecurity, etc.)
• Experience in Information security assessments with infrastructure (e.g. Server OS, Databases, Network Firewalls, etc.)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently with minimum guidance as well as a team player
• Strong command of written and spoken Chinese and English

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9:00am – 6:00pm)
