We’re looking for one Frontend Engineer, one Backend Engineer and one QA Engineer to help us build modern financial technology software. You will need to be able to prioritize what to build, understand needs and you should not be shy about voicing your opinions as we chart our course.

Responsibilities
Design, build, maintain and improve APIs, services, and systems
Debug production issues across services and stacks
Be responsible for developing, expanding, and scaling our products
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
Work with people across the company to build new features
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Connect to external APIs – payment processors, banks, and other technology platforms
Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of every decision
Propose architectural decisions, and take part in designs, design review and code reviews and implementation
Build robust, lasting, and scalable products
Implementation of security and data protection
Optimization of the application for speed and scalability

‍Our current technology stack

Our backend systems are mostly written in Ruby (Sinatra), with some services written in Java and Python/Node (serverless apps)
Our frontend web frameworks are Angular, React, Vue
AWS for most of our infrastructure
Postgres/Redis for data storage
Grunt, gulp, webpack for tooling

Skills & requirements

Someone who gets excited by tough technical challenges
Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about helping others
Experience with front-end apps and databases
Someone who can collaborate and work well with others
Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles
3+ years of software engineering experience preferred
A passion for FinTech and creativity!
