Senior IT Analyst - POS with Giant Retailer (APAC Region) – Up to 500k/annum - Perm

Job Description

A regional position reporting within the retail systems team into IT Director. The incumbent will serve as IT Analyst and will help support POS systems and Store systems

• Liaise with business stakeholders to gather business requirements and to translate these information into technical/ non-functional specifications
• On a regular basis, review the system development/ deployment status and suggest work-around solutions when necessary in order to fulfil the business's short/ long-term goal
• IT Retail systems application support – POS & Store systems

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree or above holder in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ equivalent disciplines
• A minimal of 3 year's experience as an IT Analyst
• Strong IT application support background
• Proven track record in POS (or any retail) system design and support is useful
• Familiar with working with multiple business stakeholders at times and with a matrix reporting-line/ team
• Ability to build good rapport with people from different backgrounds
• Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written
