Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible to handle claims related matters.
Candidate holding relatively less experience will be considered for the post of Deputy Claims Officer.
Major Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for handling different types of General Insurance Claims including but not limited to evaluating insurance claims to determine whether or not policy liability is attached and, if so, how much we have to pay according to the policy terms and conditions.
- Implement claims strategies and assist the Head of Claims Department to manage daily operations.
- Approve different types of claims within authority.
- Analyze and prepare claim statistics report.
- Assist in reviewing workflow and implementing continuous claims process.
Requirements:
- Diploma, degree holder or above.
- Possession of ACII/ ANZIIF (Snr Assoc) is preferred.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in handling General Insurance Claims.
- Experience in handling casualty claims is an advantage.
- Work independently and able to work ahead of deadline.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing)
