Position Objectives:

The role holder will be as part of the Underwriting team to oversee medical cases and ensure a high quality of delivery service.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite both medical cases
• Continuously develop yourself to stay ahead of the pack by keeping your knowledge and expertise up to date
• Monitor and manage the quality & efficiency of the team, as well as finding ways to elevate the performance of the team
• Act as a mentor to junior staff and provide help when necessary
• Update and review the existing underwriting guidelines

Requirements:

• Degree Holder with a proven history in life/medical underwriting
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in medical underwriting, or 7 years of life underwriting
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, attention to detail with an ability to communicate well
• Good leadership and team building skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint presentation, Excel, written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with good technical medical and underwriting knowledge with medical authority are highly preferred but not a must
