The Job:

  • Lead a sub-work stream in the IFRS17 implementation project
  • Develop the implementation guidelines around IFRS17. With exposure to senior management to assess the business impact
  • Manage Prophet modelling enhancement project to meet the evolving reporting needs e.g. IFRS17, HKRBC
  • Review and conduct regular financial reporting on EV, IFRS and local statutory basis. Provide analysis and reports for management decisions.
  • Participate in the annual business plan exercise and other regular internal management reports
  • Participate in the revamp of financial / management reporting and business planning process in light of the new reporting requirements
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and lead the continuous improvement in efficiency and quality of financial reporting

The Person:

  • At least 5-6 years of actuarial experience
  • Fellowship or close to Fellowship in a recognized international actuarial professional body
  • Strong technical skill and project management skill
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for the role of Senior Manager
