With over 12,000 employees, our client is a leading garment manufacturer with production bases in China and overseas countries, and now looking for General Manager to station overseas for managing the whole manufacturing operations.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group GM, the General Manager (overseas) will require having strategic planning and executing initiatives for supporting the smooth production operation, advanced quality control and on-time delivery.

Major duties

• Oversee the production operation to ensure production efficiency and product quality, and meet the overall company’s targets and customers’ requirements as well
• Lead the function heads to formulate and implement policies and procedures for continuous improvement of factory and production operation
• Manage the factory operation within budget and legal context
• Develop a high performance culture and quality management team with competent, flexible and committed workforce
• Ensure all functions with good alignments and smoothly operation
• Ensure effective management on resource utilization/allocation

Job requirements

• Higher Diploma or above holder in Textile/Industrial Engineering or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 10 years solid working experience in garment manufacturing field with at least 6 years at senior management level
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO certification, lean management and ERP system
• Strong strategic thinking and sophistical skills on strategy formulation
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills
• Good commend of both written and spoken Mandarin & English
• With computer knowledge such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Station in overseas
