Our client is a reputable consumer brand with presence across the globe. To support its sourcing function, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic talent to join its global sourcing team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Function Head, you will oversee sourcing, product development, order processing to manufacturing readiness of fashion jewellery/ gifts & premium merchandise. You will work closely with sales, design and quality teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of each program to meet cost, quality and timeline objectives. You will act as a facilitator and problem-solver to resolve any issues arise during the entire program. In addition, you will conduct sourcing of new gifts/ premium items, factory visit (particularly for new suppliers) as well as supplier performance management.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University Degree or equivalent in Merchandising, Procurement or any related discipline
• At least 10 years of product development and sourcing experience, preferably gained from fast-paced and sizeable sourcing/ trading firm
• Knowledge in metal/ fashion jewellery, accessories, gifts & premium, lifestyle (hard-goods) will be highly sought after
• Proven track record in managing multiple product development projects from Asia origins
• Flexible, independent and with ability to work within a fast-paced work environment
• Exceptional strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
