Factory : Dongguan 600 workers

Core competency : manufacture of direct energy devices across a wide array of surgical specialties

Their products include electro-surgical equipments in private label, medical & surgical devices, filters and disposable items in OEM basis

Main items : precision electro-surgical pencil, surgical knife, surgical sealer, wound dressing, skin stapler, cardiac insulation pad, oxygen filter etc

Main market : North America and European markets

We are looking for PURCHASING MANAGER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Tertiary education
- Studies in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Technical related disciplines is a plus
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, material requirements planning, or related supply chain functions, preferably in medical device, health care products or other similar regulated industry
- Supply Management experience with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and Medical Device industry is highly prefer
- Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administration.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated industry. Medical Device industry sourcing and supplier management experience preferred.
- Professional certifications in medical/health care related field is a plus
- JOB SUMMARY : developing and executing optimal Procurement & Sourcing strategies through the selection, development and management of supplier relationships.
- Drive procurement/supplier initiatives to meet overall supply requirements whilst implementing sustainable cost reduction & service improvements.
- Develop and lead the implemented of Procurement & Sourcing Strategies, resulting in a strong supply base that continuously creates a sustainable competitive advantage.
- Lead sourcing analysis and selection process and performs cost analyses. Negotiate, establish, monitor and enforce supplier contracts and agreements.
- Develop and benchmark best practices amongst suppliers. Identify supply base risk and develop/implement mitigation plans including market assessments, supplier's financial assessments, social responsibility, environment, ethics etc.
- Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers. Utilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes. Optimize the sourcing and procurement processes. Benchmark best practices externally & internally, to design and implement optimally effective processes.
- Lead contract negotiations, contract management, and vendor management activities such as strategic reviews and site visits.
- Introduce new technology, new materials and/or new suppliers. Identify “best in class” suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate or reduce against risk in the supply chain.
- Work in Dongguan Changping factory
- Company shuttle bus provided daily between Changping railway station & factory
- 5 days work
